Blue Tears was born out of my inability to handle the Summer. I have noted year after year after year that it is "so hot" and that "none of my clothing works because its all heavy, and made from curtains". This is not the case with my newest fascination, lace.

My happy place has been found in lace. A friend in the Summer, and so elegant feeling I could scream. I added some accent details in a canvas for this piece to give it some extra detail, and I used the same fabric around the hem, which I hand stitched entirely into place. I pull the light details in the material, notably the pearls, with the accent fabric.
